Mail-In Repair Process
If your Commodore equipment needs repair and you cannot visit an authorized service center, you can mail it to us.
Step 1: Get an RMA Number
Before shipping anything, call 1-800-448-9987 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages without RMA numbers may be refused or delayed.
Step 2: Prepare Your Equipment
- Use original packaging if available, or a sturdy box with foam padding
- Include ONLY the defective unit - do not send power supplies, cables, or disks unless specifically instructed
- Remove any cartridges from the expansion port
- If sending a disk drive, do NOT include any floppy disks
Step 3: Include Documentation
In the box, include a letter with:
- Your RMA number (write it on the outside of the box too)
- Your name, address, and daytime phone number
- Model and serial number of the equipment
- Detailed description of the problem
- Copy of your original receipt (for warranty repairs)
Step 4: Ship to the Service Center
