How do I load programs from the Datasette tape drive?

Using the Commodore Datasette
The Datasette (C2N) uses standard audio cassette tapes for affordable program storage. While slower than disk, its perfect for beginners!
Loading a Program from Tape
LOAD
Then press PLAY on the Datasette. The computer will find and load the first program on the tape.
Loading a Specific Program
LOAD "PROGRAM NAME"
The computer will search the tape for a program with that exact name.

Tip: Keep a tape counter log! Write down the counter number for each program so you can fast-forward directly to it.
